Did you know that lemon flavor doesn’t come from lemons? Or that a cactus is the home of a bug found in many of our favorite candies on purpose?? Be it sumptuous candies, rare spices, or mass produced junk food, our lives revolve around our favorite foods. In this night hike, we will track down the plants that help us create our favorite meals and learn their surprising histories!

This is an after-hours event.
Advance online registration required.
Please arrive 10 minutes before class to ensure you have time to check in! Refunds will not be granted to registered guests who miss the class due to tardiness.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
The Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or change a class due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a class cancellation or change, registrants will be notified and be offered a full refund or a reschedule.
The Arboretum cannot accommodate refunds, cancellations, or reschedules within 7 days of the start of the class.
