    The beauty and diversity of these African plants is showcased in a collection of over 180 different species, ranging from spectacular tree aloes to exquisite groundcovers and shrubs.

  • Engelmann Oaks

    Growing across Tallac Knoll’s southern slope, over 250 trees comprise the largest remaining grove of Engelmann Oaks in Los Angeles County.

  • Magnolia

    Among the Arboretum’s most spectacular late winter/early spring features, over sixty magnolia cultivars reach peak bloom in February and early March.

  • Plumeria

    Over seventy fragrant, brilliantly colored plumerias, popularly associated with tropical vacations, are found in this collection on Tallac Knoll.
