Summer Camp for Adults: The Magic Garden!

About This Event

Let’s ALL go to camp! Created by popular demand, Summer Camp for Adults is a half-day experience that allows grown ups to travel back in time to when they attended (or didn’t get to attend!) summer camp as children- but with an adult twist! While sipping on an “adult juice box” of wine, guests will participate in a fun science experiment, a unique nature-based craft, an amusing, adult-themed tour of the garden, and a light dinner full of nostalgic childhood favorites including grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup, goldfish crackers, and more. Each camp date has a different theme. Join us for just one or all of them! You’re sure to have a memorable time.

JULY 30TH: THE MAGIC GARDEN!

Come embark upon a magical nature adventure! Where does the dragon tree get its name from? Why did Druids hold ceremonies under Oak Trees? Which herbs were once used to ward off evil spirts? The July adult summer camp adventure will explore the fascinating intersection of nature, folklore, and human imagination.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancelations must be requested in advance of one week prior to the program start date in order to qualify for a refund. Cancellations requested within 7 days of the class start date will not qualify for a refund. The Arboretum does not offer credit or reschedules for missed classes. If you are unable to cancel within the required refund window, please consider your program fee a donation to the garden. Your registration confirms your understanding of and agreement with this policy.
