The classes are taught by Ron Pettie, Master Artist and Art Coach. He encourages in bringing out the inner artist in all of us.
Ron the Art Coach will share with you the keys to painting success, including the Secret-Skin Formula. You can start a painting with Sketching, the Grid System, or Photo Projection on Canvas and choose your painting subject from our photo library. A small class allows for individual instruction. We have weekly, short art seminars and skill handouts to keep. 2-3 paintings can be completed. All artists from other mediums, including past Oil Painting classes, are welcome. Materials such as projectors for outlining, five types of brushes, advanced glass palette, color wheel, color chart, values card, stand up easels, a notebook guide on painting skills, canvas and canvas board, aprons, cloths, paper towels, photo library, color match instrument, and more will be provided!

Cancellation & Refund Policy
The Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the class non-viable. If the Arboretum cancels a class, registrants will be offered a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations within 7 days of the start of the class. For all other cancellations, your payment will be refunded minus a 10% processing fee.
