A Members, Volunteers, and Staff Exhibit in the Arboretum Library
June 1, 2019 – June 27, 2019
An opening reception will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 2-4pm in the Arboretum Library.
The Arboretum Library will host an Arboretum community art exhibit, Art Among Us. It is open to all active Arboretum members, volunteers, and staff. The show’s theme is focused on our Arboretum and what it means to you. Show us your visions of beauty, light, plants, and animals.
It will be curated by Arboretum volunteer, Bob Tager and guided by Susan Eubank, the Arboretum Librarian. Bob had his own art gallery in Santa Cruz during the 1980s and curated an art gallery at USC’s Keck School of Medicine during the 2000s. He has also worked on other Arboretum exhibits.
All media are encouraged! It can be 2D or 3D, painting, photography, bronze, welded, or paper sculpture, needlepoint, quilts, etc. To participate in the show and to receive a complete list of mandatory guidelines send an e-mail to ArboretumArtists@gmail.com by May 1, 2019.
