Special Event: Illustrating the Urban Forest

About This Event

The exhibit Illustrating the Urban Forests: 20 years of Botanical Art features Mediterranean-climate trees that are appropriate to the climate of Southern California.

2pm: Meet the artists  from the Botanical Guild of Southern California whose works are featured in the Library’s exhibit Illustrating the Urban Forest; 20 years of Botanical Art.

4-4:45pm:  Exhibition Tours: 4-4:45pm

5-5:45pm: Tree Guru Matt Ritter, the author of A Californian’s Guide to the Trees Among Us,  will make a special presentation about Southern California trees.  The fee for the event is $10 for members; $15 for non-members (includes admission).  Please call 626.821.4623 for reservations.
