Basic Tree & Shrub Pruning Workshop For Homeowners
Instructor: Rebecca Latta
Learn about pruning techniques for small garden trees, fruit trees and shrubs. Class includes information about when, how and why to prune. Please bring hand pruners. Class includes lecture, demonstration and hands on practice.
Holding a degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara, Rebecca specializes in arboriculture, but also has expertise in horticultural evaluation, native plants, wildlife protection and water management. Ms. Latta has worked as a consulting arborist, water manager, and horticultural consultant for the past 24 years in both the public and private sectors. She has been an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)–certified arborist since November 1998.
