About This Event

The Arboretum is participating in the City Nature Challenge, an international community science effort to document nature in cities around the world. The global event April 24-27 calls on current and aspiring community scientists, nature and science fans of all ages to get outside and observe and submit pictures of wild plants, animals, and fungi.

The Arboretum is an idea place to search for “wild” plants and animals, meaning they are not put there or cared for by humans.

• Before setting off, download the iNaturalist app from the App Store or Google Play.
• Share Your observations in the iNaturalist app.
• Learn more as your finds get identified.
