Instructor: David Karp
$25 Arboretum members
$35 non-members (includes Arboretum admission)

Discover the different methods of the composting process, from collecting food scraps to vermiculture.  Learn what materials can be composted and how worm castings (poop!) can improve your soil.  Composting conditions the soil for healthy plants, and can save money and water.

David Karp has taught the sciences for over 40 years. He has presented talks about school gardens, monarchs, milkweeds, and worms.  He has conducted so many workshops, that he is pretty sure he knows his poop!
