Price: $15 members, $20 non-members
Come celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend and learn all about sweets and the plants they come from. When you get a box of chocolates or a bag of candy, it’s hard to imagine these sticky treats where once a plant half a world away. Come with us as we hunt down the botanical origins of our favorite treats. Hear wacky stories of how some very dull looking plants became scrumptious treasure, and touch, taste, and smell the ingredients of our favorite candies in their raw form.
This is an after-hours event.

$20 non-members
*Children under 12 months are free, but are still required to register.

Please arrive 10 minutes before class to ensure you have time to check in! Refunds will not be granted to registered guests who miss the class due to tardiness.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
The Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or change a class due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a class cancellation or change, registrants will be notified and be offered a full refund or a reschedule.
The Arboretum cannot accommodate refunds, cancellations, or reschedules within 7 days of the start of the class.
