About This Event

Join us for a special day in support of families affected by the LA fires.

This special community event is presented by the Georgina Fredrick Children’s Foundation.

ALL DAY
• Explore the garden using a variety of different scavenger hunts.
• Make a wish for the community and tie it to our Wish Tree.

9am-5:30pm
• Learn about seed dispersal, soil science, wildlife, and Arboretum history at Curiosity Carts throughout the garden.
• Take a closer look at Arboretum plants and insects at the microscope table.

11am-2pm
• Raptor Visits

WHILE SUPPLIES LAST
• Take home a free packet of poppy seeds to help support California’s pollinator population.

DIRECTIONS TO PARKING AT THE MALL:

Heading south on Baldwin Avenue: Turn left at Santa Anita Park Gate 8 and veer to the right to enter mall parking. Park in the northwest corner of The Shops at Santa Anita parking area. Please use the crosswalk (at the signal) and enter the Arboretum’s Depot parking lot to make your way to the event.
