Instructor: Brie Wakeland
Join food preservationist, Brie Wakeland, for a workshop on how to make a decadent galette for Valentine’s Day.
Galettes are a type of golden, colorful, and indulgent French tart that could be topped with either sweet or savory fillings. Making a galette is often noted to be easier than making a pie so don’t worry if you fear you are lacking in the culinary skills department! Brie will be showing you how to make a savory butternut squash with caramelized onion and goat cheese galette and a sweet caramelized apple galette with home made pie dough. Impress that special someone with this charming and elegant treat for Valentine’s!
An ingredients and materials list will be sent out before the class. A Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants 24 hours before class begins.
