Spiders versus butterflies, ladybugs versus cockroaches…… Why do we love some bugs, and fear others? In this fun and educational program, we will be exploring this question while introducing guests to our resident tarantula, millipede, hissing cockroaches, and worms, and learning about what makes these critters special. After getting up close and personal with them (you will even get to touch some of them!) and gaining a better understanding of and appreciation for these dynamic creatures we share the earth with, you may find them far more lovable than scary. We will end by releasing ladybugs into the garden, followed by making our own “love bug” antennae!

Cancellation & Refund Policy
The Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the class non-viable. If the Arboretum cancels a class, registrants will be offered a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations within 7 days of the start of the class. For all other cancellations, your payment will be refunded minus a 10% processing fee.
