Annual Members Meeting

About This Event

We are honored to have Linda Dishman, President and CEO of the Los Angeles Conservancy as our  guest speaker.  She will discuss the preservation of historic landscapes and their importance to the heritage of Southern California.

Meet and mingle with other members as well as Arboretum trustees and staff. Please join us for a relaxing morning in the garden. We have many activities planned just for our members to enjoy:

Updates on gardens and programs
Tours of the latest plantings and garden additions with Arboretum staff
Arboretum Library & Bookmobile
Family craft

The members present at the Annual Meeting will be asked to approve a short amendment of the Arboretum’s Articles of Incorporation. The Amendment will authorize the Board of Trustees to consist of from 9 to 39 Trustees. The Articles currently authorize from 8 to 15 Trustees. The current Board of Trustees recommends approval of this amendment, which will provide the Board with more flexibility to effectively perform its duties, and will allow a wider range of potential Trustees to serve. Trustees serve without compensation, and are required to make certain monetary donations to the Arboretum, in addition to their duties overseeing its operations. Please attend and vote!
