Sandia Creek Ranch Auxiliary Foundation SCRAF is home to rescued horses, transformative equine programs, and their cherished “Mobile Minis.” Come meet Red King, a 12‑year‑old chestnut Thoroughbred who once raced at Santa Anita, earned top honors at the Thoroughbred Makeover in Kentucky, and was chosen to represent the National Pony Express in its historic re‑ride. SCRAF will also bring two gentle miniature horses, the same minis who bring joy to residents in local nursing homes.
