About This Event

How did the California landscape affect the life and work of M.F.K. Fisher (1908-1992), the great prose stylist most widely recognized as a food writer?  She lived in many California locales, including Hemet from 1940-1942. Paul Panich will discuss the author’s Hemet years, her home there and other California landscapes reflected in Fisher’s writings. October 8 at 10:30am $15 members; $25 non-members.
