The Eisner Intergenerational Big Band (EIBB) unites some of the best jazz musicians, from teenagers to seniors, to rehearse and perform an outstanding, stylistically diverse jazz repertoire. The EIBB gives a new life to jazz hits that transformed the American music landscape throughout history. Through improvisation, our musicians bring a unique experience to every performance. We bring our music to communities across Los Angeles to highlight the benefits of building meaningful, intergenerational relationships through music and performance.
6:15 p.m. Movie starts at Dusk
The Grinch and his loyal dog, Max, live a solitary existence inside a cave on Mount Crumpet. His main source of aggravation comes during Christmastime when his neighbors in Whoville celebrate the holidays with a bang. When the Whos decide to make Christmas bigger and brighter, the disgruntled Grinch realizes there is one way to gain peace and quiet. With help from Max, the green grump hatches a scheme to pose as Santa Claus, steal Christmas and silence the Whos’ holiday cheer once and for all.

Members are encouraged to bring friends and family and can purchase up to 8 tickets in total.
Please note your ticket(s) are non-refundable. For this special event, tickets may be transferred to other people, but may not be used for another movie night. In the event of rain, outdoor activities including movie screenings will be canceled.

Entrance will be located at Ayres Hall.
Reservations are required.
Don’t forget to bring a lawn chair or blanket to relax on. Please, NO TALL CHAIRS. No chairs over 6 inches off the ground and no tall back chairs. Guests with tall chairs may need to sit in a designated area with their party. The garden will not provide chairs or lawn furniture.
