Join Jill Morganelli, the Arboretum’s Horticultural Supervisor, on tours through gardens that demonstrate responsible stewardship for our Southern California landscapes while providing beauty and seasonal interest.
Each session will highlight water-maximizing garden construction, installation and site-specific recommendations for irrigation systems, and water-savy landscape horticulture selections from Australia, South Africa, California natives, as well as plants from our water conservation, desert, and many specialty gardens. Design technique, stewardship and habitat building are also discussed.
Classes meet in the Rotunda and are held outdoors in all weather.
