Our new Science Book Club is for those 18 and older.

Join us to discuss Braiding Sweetgrass, Indigenous Wisdeom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plant by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Thursday, August 24; 4-5pm

For our second Science Book Club meeting, we discuss Lab Girl by Hope Jahren on Thursday, September 21; 4-5pm

Check out your book free from your local public library or buy it where books are sold. LA County Live Oak Library in Arcadia has available copies for immediate check-out with your LA County Library Card. Stop by their circulation desk and mention the Arboretum Science Book Club.
