Program Details
Spend an evening discovering a magic place -the LA Arboretum at night! Join Arboretum botanist Frank McDonough and use lasers, UV lights, high powered torches, and heavy-duty flash guns (also bring your own as well) to get amazing photos. This session is for experienced and new photographers as there will be a short overview of night photography.
You will need to bring:
- Headlamp -mandatory.
- Sturdy walking shoes (mandatory we will go off-trail).
- Tripod -strongly suggested.
- Camera capable of taking time lapse photos -strongly suggested.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Cancelations must be requested in advance of one week prior to the program start date in order to qualify for a refund. Cancellations requested within 7 days of the class start date will not qualify for a refund. The Arboretum does not offer credit or reschedules for missed classes. If you are unable to cancel within the required refund window, please consider your program fee a donation to the garden. Your registration confirms your understanding of and agreement with this policy.
*Please arrive 10 minutes before class to ensure you have time to check in!
*Refunds will not be granted to registered guests who miss the class due to tardiness.
