Don’t miss an unforgettable evening of dance at the Arboretum’s historic core! Performed at the Queen Anne Cottage, Coach Barn, and surrounding historic grounds, Blue13 Dance Company presents their latest immersive dance experience – “Pouring Salt Over Ink” – that celebrates ancestry, expression, and feminine power, conjured by Artistic Director Achinta Sawhny McDaniel and Associate Director Jon Paul.
As as the veil between day and night thins, the historic core will transform into an illuminated world of dance, drinks, and revelry. Guests won’t just watch from afar; they’ll move through the garden alongside the performers, encountering captivating dance in the most unexpected corners.
Doors open at 5:00 PM, with the immersive dance experience taking place from 5:30–8:00 PM.
Cocktails, beverages, and light bites will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Come ready to explore, experience, and feel dance in an entirely new way as Blue13 and the LA Arboretum create a singular twilight performance where movement, place, ancestry, and audience come together.
Please note this is not a seated, stationary performance–While limited chairs will be available at times, audience walking and standing are involved in this experience.

The Arboretum does not offer credit or reschedules for missed classes or tardiness. If you are unable to cancel within the required refund window, please consider your program fee a donation to the garden.
