Learn cost effective ideas for keeping rain water safely in your garden and off city streets. Examples include dry ponds, swales and streams. Water absorbed by the ground helps refill the local aquafers and city wells. Trees and shrubs also benefit from extra deep watering during the rainy season. This talk will cover the basics of grading, drainage on the surface and in pipes, water storage and how plants use water.
