Join us on a refreshing walk through the gardens, as we explore some of the varied plants that are growing at the Arboretum. We will discuss traditional and folkloric uses of herbs from the culinary and functional to the magical and even spiritual. The Spring season is upon us and what a beautiful time of year to explore the gardens, especially after the abundant rains this winter! During our walk, we will get to know the plants a little deeper through hands-on practice with the flowers.
Flowers are not just beautiful reproductive organs of the plants, they have a language of their own. They are alive and vibrant and through their aromas, colors and delicate energies they communicate with us. Come discover the radiance and joy of the spring blooms and be inspired to nurture your own unique relationship with the plants!
– Explore the practice of attunement – sitting with the plants and receiving their wisdom
– Learn how to craft your own floral anointing water
– Enjoy the beauty and gifts of the flowers in the garden!
