About This Event
We celebrate spring with a day of special walking tours led by members of the Arboretum staff. Join us to learn about ideal water saving plants for the Southern California garden. Here’s a list of the scheduled tours:
11am: Mediterranean Plants for Your Garden – Jill Vig, Arboretum gardener of the Henry C. Soto Water Conservation Garden. Learn about vibrant, low water plants from the Mediterranean regions of the world that are great for Southern California. Meet at the Water Conservation Garden.
12pm: Australian Plants – Frank McDonough, Botanical Information Consultant. Learn about the various aspects and features of one the biggest collections of Australian plants outside of Australia. Meet at the Serpent Trail entrance across from the Tropical Green House.
1pm: What’s happening in the Garden for All Seasons – Tom Moure, Arboretum Gardener, tends this special garden. Come and see what to do in the garden now to have abundance this summer. Meet at the Garden for All Seasons.
2pm: Curator’s Choice – James Henrich, Curator of Living Collections. Meet at the Gift Shop Patio
3pm: World of Plants in Books – Susan Eubank, Arboretum Librarian. Discover the wealth of information on plants, garden and nature with our knowledgeable librarian. Meet in the Library

Regular admission applies; members free
