Pack a picnic and head to the Arboretum’s historic core to experience the charm and elegance of days gone by! The Historical Tea & Dance Society will be performing traditional Victorian dances in period attire from 12:30-4pm as part of their 16th anniversary celebration. Arboretum guests are welcome to picnic on the lawn in front of the Victorian cottage, enjoy enchanting dance performances, and perhaps even try learning a dance or two.
Dancers will be performing in themed costumes. Arboretum guests who wish to add to the atmosphere are encouraged to come dressed in Victorian, Steampunk, Fantasy, or Alice in Wonderland themed attire. Picnics are restricted to the performance lawn in front of the Queen Anne Cottage and cannot be enjoyed elsewhere in the garden. Free with garden admission.
