Gifts of the Magi: Frankincense, Myrrh & Gold

Explore the aromatic world of frankincense and myrrh with ethnobotanist Krisa Fredrickson. Learn about the plants that produce these treasured resins and their long histories of trade and use in incense, medicine, and ritual. Participants will examine resin samples and create their own natural incense using frankincense, myrrh, a few complementary aromatics, and a touch of gold leaf. All materials are provided; no previous experience is necessary.

(Makes an amazing holiday gift).
