Irena returns this year with a culinary herbs workshop! Learn how to incorporate herbs into your cooking and discover not just their aromatic flavors, but the ways in which they stimulate the body and mind. In this class, we will discuss the traditional and folkloric uses of some common culinary herbs focusing on the Mediterranean region. Come learn how cooking with these herbs can cleanse, soothe, stimulate, and enhance our lives in so many ways. Along with our discussion, we will prepare and sample some herbal foods, dips, and dressings as well as employ traditional methods of herbal infusions, decoctions, and powders.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
The Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the class non-viable. If the Arboretum cancels a class, registrants will be offered a full refund. There are no refunds for cancellations within 7 days of the start of the class. For all other cancellations, your payment will be refunded minus a 10% processing fee.
*Please arrive 10 minutes before class to ensure you have time to check in! Refunds will not be granted to registered guests who miss the class due to tardiness.
